K.V.L. Narayan Rao has been with NDTV since 1995 and is responsible for the Human Resources, Administration and Operations of the Company. Previously, he has served the Indian Government as an Indian Revenue Sevices Officer from 1979 to 1994 in various roles including Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Representative on the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, and Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence. Prior to joining the Indian Revenue Service, he was a sub-editor at the Indian Express and also worked for All India Radio in Chennai.
